The staggering $1.9 trillion size of US healthcare is not
without reason and not without complication. 20% of all taxpayer
dollars is spent towards healthcare and yet, 80% of this cost
covers only 8% of the population. Add to this equation, the
bulging Medicare and Medicaid numbers and it’s easy to see why the
situation demands new ideas and a new way of thinking.
Traditionally, US healthcare has had tremendous innovation on the
delivery of medical care – there is constant innovation in drugs,
technology, and scientific discovery. However, the pace of
innovation is dismal on the back-end of medical delivery –
particularly, revenue cycle management or simply, how a healthcare
provider gets reimbursed for services delivered.
Revenue cycle management is not about simply entering charges,
submitting claims, posting payments from insurance carriers and
following up – it’s much more. We welcome you to explore our
resources website to discover this side of the equation. As we go
